Built On Purpose Studio has created a different kind of Partner Program — one where the people who help us grow, promote our photography, and create new work share in the value of what we build together.

Two Ways to Participate
Referral Partners
Share and promote our photography. Earn from the results.
Referral Partners help introduce Built On Purpose Studio to new people by sharing our work, extending our reach, and making genuine connections.
When a qualifying referral becomes a completed session, the Referral Partner earns a commission. Active Referral Partners may also earn commission on qualifying future sessions booked by clients they originally referred. Partners may also receive special photography privileges for themselves and their families, including select portrait opportunities throughout the program.
Referral Partners must be 18 or older.
Portfolio Models
Help us create the work that defines Built On Purpose Studio.
Portfolio Models step in front of our camera to help us create new material for the Built On Purpose Studio portfolio. These opportunities may feature individuals, couples, families, parents, children, or teens whose look and personality connect with a particular creative direction we want to explore.
Portfolio Models receive edited photography selected by the studio from the sessions in which they participate at no charge to them. Children and teens under 18 participate through a parent or legal guardian, who manages communication, scheduling and consent.
Portfolio Models join us for a one-year program and work exclusively with Built On Purpose Studio for personal portrait and portfolio photography during that time. Individual opportunities are based on the creative needs of the studio, so the number and type of sessions will vary. Additional program details are outlined in the Portfolio Model Agreement.
One Program. Two Roles.
Adults may participate as Referral Partners, Portfolio Models, or both. Children and teens may participate as Portfolio Models through a parent or legal guardian, but they are not eligible to serve as Referral Partners or earn referral commissions.
A parent may be a Referral Partner while also participating in portfolio sessions themselves, or allowing their children to be considered for selected portfolio opportunities. Referral activity is never required to be considered for a portfolio opportunity. Modeling is never required to participate as a Referral Partner.
How the Partner Program Works
What Participants Can Expect
Depending on your role, program benefits and opportunities may include:
- Referral commissions on qualifying new and repeat client sessions
- Special photography opportunities for Referral Partners and their families
- Invitations to selected studio-directed Portfolio Model sessions
- Studio-selected, edited photography from Portfolio Model sessions in which you participate
- Early access to selected Built On Purpose Studio projects, concepts, and announcements
- Opportunities to help promote, participate in, and shape new creative work

Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for people who connect with what Built On Purpose Studio stands for.
People who recognize the difference between photography created with purpose versus photos simply created for the feed. People who are willing to share work they genuinely believe in. And people who aren’t interested in looking like everyone else.
You don’t need a massive social media presence. You don’t need professional modeling experience. You do need to connect with our approach and be comfortable representing Built On Purpose Studio honestly and confidently. Participation is selective, and not every applicant will be the right fit for the program.
Being a Referral Partner
Referral Partners receive a referral code for new clients who book with Built On Purpose Studio. When someone uses that referral code to book and complete a qualifying session, the partner earns a commission based on the qualifying session amount. Active Referral Partners may also earn commission on qualifying future sessions booked by clients they originally referred.
The studio handles all consultations, pricing, scheduling, agreements, photography, and delivery. Partners do not collect payments, negotiate pricing, promise discounts, or guarantee availability. Commission details, qualifying-session requirements, payment timing, and disclosure expectations are provided in the Referral Partner Agreement.
Being a Portfolio Model
Portfolio Model sessions are developed around the current creative and marketing needs of Built On Purpose Studio. When we have a concept in mind, we select potential models whose age, personality, appearance or interests connect with that direction. A Portfolio Model invitation may involve an individual, a parent and child, siblings, a couple, or an entire family.
Every invitation explains the concept, what the session will involve, and what photography the participating model will receive. Session invitations are always optional, and Portfolio Models may accept or decline a particular opportunity.
Photography created through the Portfolio Model program may be used by Built On Purpose Studio for its portfolio, social media, advertising, promotions and other creative purposes. Complete image-use terms are included in the Portfolio Model Agreement. A parent or legal guardian enters into the agreement and provides consent on behalf of anyone under 18.
Sharing the work we create together is also part of the program. After each portfolio session, Portfolio Models share at least one post from the session and tag or mention Built On Purpose Studio.
What This Program Is Not
This isn’t a paid membership disguised as a partner or ambassador program. And it isn’t an arrangement where people pay for the privilege of promoting someone else’s business. It’s an opportunity to introduce people to work you believe in, contribute to unique photography, and share in what you help Built On Purpose Studio create.
